whats a good set up for a 55g ?

Aquaclear 110 is a good filter that doesnt break the bank. Planted tanks are nice, but the equipment can get expensive.

No equipment needed for low light easy plants. Anubia and Java fern are 2 examples

I have a 55 and I will tell you what. If you have the floor space and spend a little more I'd get a 75 the six inches wider makes a hugh differance and opens up allot more choices.

I have 2 AC70's in my 55, it's stays crystal clear! I would try a brackish setup! I've always wanted to do a 55+ brackish!!
