A long way from Amphioxus
So I have a pair of blood parrots who have laid eggs before, but I have never gotten any fry because the eggs always have gotten eaten. I dont like these fish at all and just want them gone. I was going to trade them for 20 quarter sized severums. Three different varieties, turquoise, green and "starburst" (never heard of the starbursts), anyway I was supposed to trade for them today, but last night the guys heater got stuck on and it cooked all his baby severums. So I'm bumbed, but I still want the blood parrots gone. The guy said he would give me the entire next batch of fry he gets from his turquoise which he said he would grow till they eat flake food. He says this will be about 300 fry. I could do that and rehome all but about 6 when they get bigger. He said he could also give me a juvinial green severum and some cash. Or I could try to trade with someone else, I just dont know what I want to do. I really wanted the group of different varieties. Ugh. Anyway, what should I do. Should I give the fish to him today and trust him to give me the fry or what? I trust the guy, but I also do want to get ripped off.

depends how much you trust him, if u really dont want them and u trust him then do it but if u have some doubt than dont, thats my opinoin

If u dont like the fish. Then give him those when the next fry comes.

ya if you trust him go for it. id trade the blood parrots for anything. the only thing there good for is using the females to come up with some cool flowerhorns. just about all the males are sterile so even if they didnt eat the eggs they probably wouldnt have been fertilized.

I have heard that (that they are sterile), I got them when I rescued some fish a while back and have pretty much been paying little attention to them, but now I need the tank space. So I'm not sure what to do. I do trust the guy, I talked to him for quite a while, he sounds like a Monster Fish Keeper at heart, lol.
