whats a good type of catfish

I have a Tiger shovel nose and a marble cat with my 3 Motoro's and no one bugs each other. I have heard of big cats getting poked in the stomach from the spikes on rays tails.

tigrinus is a popular cat....I think the bagarius sp. are good too..... I have seen TSN and RTC with rays... main consern is feedings..... cats grow quicker and eat a lot more food...

if it's fresh water a pleco (sucker fish)

plecos can sometimes damage the rays.. by sucking on them, but as usual it all depends on the personality of the fish.

yeah i use to have a pleco but my male stingray killed it... it actually stung it, it was quite a sight to see, I had never seen the pleco bug it but it must have been to see it act that way.

Tigrinus, Juruense.. just concern yourself with feeding competition and activity levels.. Pictus are no good IMO..

Big Rays will eat smaller cats too..
