A saltwater puffer to be exact...A good friend of mine was down the shore recently and found one in the sand.He said the body is intact and wants to keep it for a display but does not know how to go about preserving it so any ideas would be appreciated.

A jar with everclear is a good choice. He could also try and dry it like a mummy. Salt and dry environment.

Bakeing soda iirc. Might be baking powder. U cover it completely in an air tight container for a.month or so. This technique was discovered by one of the crayfish guys awhile back. Might be able to find his thread. Its well over a year old

Pickle it?
