Hi,

I got my self a two Peacock Bass which are about 6" yesterday and I love them...
they live with my two other Oscar's which are over 10" and they BIG and they seems to do okay with smaller fish then them, the Peacock Bass seem to eat nicely as I just feed them but I want to know what is their grow rate.
they live in 750 liters Aquarium which should be okay for couple of years.
Would be a good Idea to buy some mollies at about 5" and see of my Oscar's get more use to smaller fish's so I have less trouble to keep them in peace?
otherwise I may buy a tank separator/divider...

thanks for looking.

With the right water conditions, good feeding and water change schedule you can expect a growth of about an inch a month a bit more if their tems, post up pics so we can see what type of bass you got..

will do,I'm gonna go to buy a tank divider,I just can't trust my Oscars.

1" per month is the norm.
slightly more or less depending on your feeding, water change schedule etc.
separate them.
the cichla should get to the oscars size in a few months.

hope so,I can't get the tank divider now as my my local fish/pet shop was closed and it will be open again on 2pm (UK time)...
I will do pictures at night so I can get best shot possible!

small update...
I have feed them and I noticed that they love blood worms.
Bloodworms are red just like Hikari Pellets for Oscars...
so I figured out that if I mix pellets with bloodworms they should eat the pellets as well and they did,the bigger Peacock Bass just loves them and the other one wasn't as hungry as the bigger one but he ate some as well,I will get them to eat pellets with no problem...
I will also try to get them eating shrimps, krill, earthworms etc but I don't want to feed them with feeders.

I will,it just needs to get darker...

I can't get the tank divider...
my aquarium is ''too BIG''
it looks like they will have to live together.
