hey im interested in trying something new and attempting to breed something people havent breed that much outside of fish farms.
im not looking to make big money off of this even though being able to sell the babys would be nice haha =).
The fish should be something people are looking for (so i can unload babys if i have any luck)
i know of some people that sucessfully bred SA lung fish so i might try that but if you guys have any other ideas that would be awesome.
oh and ive really been in to catfish lately so maybe something along those lines?

how much room do you have?
You could try to breed polys but the fry are supposed to be tricky to raise but I know we could find someone around here regardless of species to take the babies off your hands.:Dc eck out the primer sticky in the poly forum for info
as for cats featherfins would be cool but i have no clue how you would do it. Pictus might be fun again I know nothing about breeding catfish

polypterus senegalus.
Polpterus Delhezi, Senegals are too common, IMO.

Synodontis petricola is a fun fish to breed and highly marketable.

They are nice. If they got bigger, I would get some. I thought you were typing Google Gudgeons, and I did. I'm a moron.

they are common and common for one reason only. they are easy to breed. just cause its a common fish does not mean its not an awesome fish.
