"and umbee" would imply that someone is also speaking of an umbee...

Blue freckeld monster.. is their common trade name. These guys particully the male get huge. also very aggressive cichlid. they get just as big as a male dovii.

the dovii is said to get a little bigger umbees are said to reach a maximum of 24''-25'' while the dovii is said to reach close to 30'' at least in the wild

yeah there have been unsubstantiated reports of male umbees reaching 30" or so but never seen actual proof of this. in aquaria males of both species rarely exceed 18" though it is possible.
