A big wet/dry would do the trick!

I would suggest bigger pumps, I run 2 600 gal/hr in my 280 gal and It is perfect, In my 550 gal I run 2 magdrive 24's with restriction I get about total 2600 gal/hr circulation from both pumps. Here's a pic of my 120 gal sump filter on my 550g, on the far right the water returns are dual 2" pipe perforated and submerdge for good airation, 40 gallons of bio balls, Purigen filter media in the middle then foam. I have a lot of fish and my water stays perfect. I found a good deal the tank and used some 1/4 "acrylic and aquarium silicon to make the dividers.

My tank is the same size and I run a Dolphin ampmaster 3000. I does somewhere between 3000-3500 gph with the 2" inlet and outlet. here's a pic before the media was added.
