My 10 inch oscar this morning has alot of wounds down one side of his body and on his fins
He is in a 6 foot tank with only a 5 inch cuban cichlid and 15 inch black ghost knife as buddies.
The oscar and the cuban never fight and that leaves me thinking could the ghost knife be chomping on him during the night? what do you guys think?

My first thought is the Cuban. Fish can turn on each other at anytime.

The cuban had a very bad moment.. and thats all it takes..

wow ok you all think its the cuban I just cant believe little castro is capable of such a thing... he has never shown ANY aggression.
My ghost knife however is big and actually quite obnoxious

about 15 inches

oh yes i just reread your first post.. thats awesome ..could i see a picture of him.. i quess there is a possibility but they usually don't go for something that could get them instead.. but i know they all do have different personalities.. 15 inches for a bGK is fantastic..

most likely the cuban took the bites, probably would get worse as the cuban gets bigger.
