I am just wondering what's the coldest temperature "theoretically" australian lungfish can tolerate?
According to breeder's website it's 50 F or 10 Celsius, but will they survive below 50 F?

All my AUL are kept in garage pond unheated environment with night temperature drops to about 52-55 F. They are all doing fine without issue and
eating well. No sign of distress or difficulty with cold water condition.

Do you think low temps like 40-45 F be fine? I am hoping they can survive in outdoor pond in socal and maybe go dormant during cold season.
It's just too much of risk to try.

I wont risk that low. They might survive that but ur lungfish immune system might get weaken. Best just to stay at sub-tropical or tropical temp. Even lower than 55-60F is already asking for trouble.
