i have a wild caught congicus that has pretty long tail fins, when i got him they looked like they were amonia burned maybe or chewed up not sure. but now they are growing back and are getting pretty darn long.
i was just wondering if this was a trait of congicus or is he kinda of long fin?

his tail fin is a good 1.5-2 inches long

"Long fin bichirs" are all captive bred for this trait. So your congicus has a long fin but it's not a long fin.

well i guess rate him them!!!

I don't think anyone has developed a long-finned lower jaw (yet). In fact, I've only seen Senegals with the long-fin trait.
