I have a 14" Longnose Gar, and I have a 55 gallon tank. He has outgrown his tank, and I doubt I'll be able to afford a bigger tank at this time. I am trying to contact some different aquariums in my area, (zoo/cabelas, etc) to see if anyone will take him. I'd like to see him go somewhere where I can still see him, know that he is well taken care of, and know he won't outgrow his enviroment. If all that falls through, and I have to sell him, whats a fair price to ask?

Bass Pro will usually take any native species that's your best bet...

As for a fair price? I would sell it on Aquabid or the FS Thread here

My local Cabela's actually seemed giddy to have him. They have 3 12" spotted Gars, and a 40 " Longnose who they are looking to replace, so when I offered them a 14 in Longnose.... he was giggling like a school child. So anyone looking at the fish in the Wheeling Cabela's, my gar is in there, (after a few weeks in quarantine)
