after i found out that i had two females i sold them both to a lfs. i had two more growing out in 10g. the one i got most recent has out grown the one i bought a couple months earlier. theyve never flared at each other but now the larger one wont leave the smaller one alone. it just pushes it around and fans it with its body. i put a small pot in the tank and the aggression has only gotten worse. what the hell is goin on? is this breeding behavior? will it eventually stop? i cant take the smaller one in my 20g because my GT will rip it apart. the larger one is only about 4 1/2 in while the smaller one is around 4.

take the fish out and switch the tank around. it's usually territorial agression. i've done this a dozen times in my 250G with jags. If that dosen't work just overload them on feeders. This should last for at least a month of peace
