It's a crazy world. My grandma (we call her gma) pass away earlier this month, what she taught me spend a lot of time with your love one and don't let anything effects how you live your life. You shouldn't change how you live if you happy and living a positive life. There's always people being kill everyday and there nothing you can do about it. You can say banned gun but that not going to stop those people from buying gun. I just put it in God's hand. If I die, then I know it my time to go with God. Just my input on how I live my life.

I would place money on the fact that any single person has 100x more chance of being killed from a car crash or heart disease than getting shot at school. Tragedy's like the recent shooting are horrible, yes, but you cant let a random event like that dictate your or your child's life. It does seem these shootings are happening a little more frequent, but it is still a tenth of a fraction of what kills people on a daily basis.

Took the following from: http://danielcmetz.hubpages.com/hub/How-do-most-people-die-in-the-USA

5. Accidents. My mom always said the shower was more dangerous than flying in a plane, and I suppose she was right. More people slip and fall in bathrooms than die in plane crashes every year. However, EVERYONE uses the bathroom everyday, while flying in a plane is usually not an everyday affair. Unless you're a pilot. But even pilots have to use the bathroom. This stat includes all accidents-- car accidents, bathroom accidents, kitchen knives plunged through your heart accidentally while making an onion blossom, etc. etc. There's not much you can do to prevent accidental accidents, but you can be more aware that risks exist. And always wash your hands!!!
4. Chronic Lower Respiratory Disease. This is the technical name for pneumonia or the flu, depending on the situation. It's surprising to most people that flu and pneumonia, which are thought of as conventional, non-deadly diseases, are such a big killers, but the numbers tell the tale. 124,583 people died of lower respiratory disease in 2009. Compare that to the 18,573 homicides in the country. You're way more likely to get a bad case of the flu and not recover than you are to get mugged and killed. So, once again, wash your hands, and wear a mask, if you think you might be contagious. Your germs might not kill you, but if you spread them around enough, you might contribute to both statistics.
3. Strokes. Also called cerebrovascular disease, strokes are very similar to the number one cause of death in the USA. A healthy heart and lungs by getting aerobic and anaerobic activity daily, along with a healthy diet and not smoking will help decrease your risk for strokes.
2. Cancer. The big C is not fully understood, even by scientists, yet it's deadliness is evident. Theories about cancer's causes, preventions, and cures are as plentiful as the different kinds of cancers which can be detected. Although cancer seems as mysterious and capacious as the slip and fall accidents that cause deaths, there is a consensus of behaviors to avoid which have been known to increase the risk of cancer, including-- smoking, exposure to high doses of radiation, (including excessive sunlight), and living a sedentary lifestyle. Certain types of viruses and the unavoidable genetic factors are also thought to cause cancer. While there's not much you can do about your genes, you can avoid viruses by washing your hands.
1. Heart disease. Washing your hands won't stop a heart attack. Heart attacks are the number one killer in the country. While the causes of heart attacks are not as clear-cut as the cause of someone's death by falling off a roof, or getting stabbed in a crooked card game, they are not as mysterious as cancer. Basically most heart disease comes from a hardening of the arteries due to a poor diet. Plaque build-up in the inner walls of arteries is the most common result of too much cholesterol in the bloodstream, which begins to obstruct blood flow. An obstructed artery is bad news, a completely obstructed one is even worse. Monitor your heart health, by checking your blood pressure, cholestrol levels, and getting exercise.

That is what the news does best, creates hysteria. You got two options: don't let fear hold you back in life, or you can stay locked up in your home forever.

Exactly. As bad as it sounds, the world needs a few crazy people and bad eggs or else the world wouldn't turn.

If you understand my statement.

Yeah they say people would never get anything done if they were always content. Or people would never change if they never experienced discomfort. There is 100s or even 1000s of ways you could get injured or killed when you step out your doors everyday. It is also best to think about the laws of attraction, you attract what you most put your thoughts and energy into.

Moral breakdown of the human race. Starting with the family. Both parents working, kids in daycare, kids coming home to empty house after school. Single parent families. Crap on television, in the movies, and in video games. Need I go on?

Nothing is wrong with people today. Nothing new going on.

You're comparing to...? How about 200 years ago... 500 years ago... Were conditions and morals better for families then?
