whats going on with my flowerhorn?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah it will go away, but your water needs to be clean and your tank should have a lot of media and gravels

Might be an anal prolapse. It wouldn't hurt to treat the tank with regular, non-scented, or additives added espom salt. That along with keeping the tank parameters great. How many gallons is the tank?

My tank parameters should be solid. I do 40% water changes every 10-14 days and hes in a 55g with 2 Aquaclear 110's. A few days ago he was showing the best signs of his kok as it was growing tremendous. Now its smaller than usual

I'd still treat just to make sure. It couldn't hurt, right? Espom salt is inexpensive and it looks like you're already on the ball with the water quality.

Cool, do you know how much Epsom salt should I put into my tank? And where do people usually go buy Epsom salt at? Petco?

I believe that it was 1 teaspoon per 15 gallons of water when treated directly and not soaking pellets.
