Massasoit st.
Hi, I'm new to the site and I figured I would introduce myself in this forum because I'm about to purchase My first piranhas. I'm getting 3 S. Eigenmannis form Massive Aggression. I'm going to cohab them in a 75 gal. tank:eek: Rico told me not to do this, but I want to do something that hasn't been done before:nilly: And If worst comes to worst I can always put in some dividers in if they start to fight.;)

If Rico say not to do , than I say-belive him .
I to like to find out for myself .
Some things work for others that have not work for some in the past .
:)

odds are you will only be left with one, but you never know you may be the first to suceed. I would go with pygos if you want a shoal.

cohabing serra's such as eigenmannis is asking for trouble, that's why more experenced hobbistist's, who have cohabed other serra before, would be better off doing it. if you want to, then i would give them at least a 6 foot long tank, prestine water quality, and a good amount of food, and mabey they won't tear eachother apart.

why not just put a mix shoal of pygo's,ull save some money and fish, and if u can do that then move to shoaling spilo/mac's,or Geryi's, there the only serra's i have heard or read about that have a high success rate.

I got a 150gal. I was thinking of putting them in, but I was thinking more like a 75gal because I can do so much more with the 150:confused:
