Is it where you like a certin fish so bad you keep buying them.. if so i think i'm experiencing it with peacock bass.. i've bought 6 in the last 2 days and spent $120 on them

Thats one definition, it can also be seeing a cool fish at the store and you must have it without researching its needs and requirements.

O i c.. So whats the word for buying lots of fish even if it makes you broke...
Only pics i have right now.. the tank was really really green because of all the sun comming into it so i put blankets up by the windows and turned the lights off in the tank and cleaned it wating for it to clear up

When that algae dies, it is probably going to make your nitrates soar through the roof. Make sure the tank is well agitated. And besides it is not all that bad of an idea to buy more than what you want when they are babies. And if by chance all 6 survive to a year old, you can select the best of the best from there and rehome the others if necessary. I just hope for the fish's sake your tank is ready for them, being that you are having bloom issues or whatever it may be. I am pushing it with with my 4 temensis and 2 arows in a 240...and will need an upgrade soon.

Hey tankyou i have a 100 for them when they outgrow the 60. the dat is only less than half an inch and is in a 12 gallon growout since they are slow growers i'm not worried about that. Yes i know they get HUGE and i'm planning on selling the ones i dont like and keeping the rest.. They will stay in a 180 until i get a bigger tank for them. I think i got it handled since there so small
