whats impules buying?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had a 135 gallon that decided to flood my whole living room in late December. So, I spent $1850 in "impulse" buys in one day:nilly: And no I am not rich, I just live within my means. And I do not regret it, although I could have paid down a credit card instead or something.;) So I understand Redkid. Glad you got the fish you want.

What size tank do you have? Because My 4 temensis are in a 240 and I will need to upgrade larger some day soon. And I heard you got a dat as well. What else you got in there?

When that algae dies, it is probably going to make your nitrates soar through the roof. Make sure the tank is well agitated. And besides it is not all that bad of an idea to buy more than what you want when they are babies. And if by chance all 6 survive to a year old, you can select the best of the best from there and rehome the others if necessary. I just hope for the fish's sake your tank is ready for them, being that you are having bloom issues or whatever it may be. I am pushing it with with my 4 temensis and 2 arows in a 240...and will need an upgrade soon.

I agree. I was in the same situation. My temensis outgrew the tank, and I had to sell them. They do grow fast. Be sure to keep those babies really warm, or you may lose them. Crank up that heater! No LESS than about 84 degrees until they get a little size on them.
