What's up guys? Been in the market for a new monster to add to my tank and I found one from a local private seller. Any guesses as to what is in the bin?! I'll give you a hint, it takes up the whole bin and that net was very necessary

Lemme know what you think of my new 17" true gator gar
oh and the best part is he is feeding on pellete, yes, I said pellets!

Wow he looks great! And on pellets how did you get so lucky!
How big is the tank he is in, your going to get a lot of people saying you need a bigger tank soon and different things like that. But for the time being what a great add and a stunning looking gar!

it gave it away when you posted it in the "Gars" forum, but w/e. Stunning fish, and i like the clean setup :)

yea well I posted in the photo lounge too but I figured I would post it here for the gar lovers and for them to flame me for housing it in a 125 haha. I am in the process or getting a bigger tank he won't be in there for too long he is just able to turn around I would never keep him in there, trust me.

this guy is a true monster. was banging on the bin on the way home and is already looking for food. I am used to a large bio load from my motoros but DAMN does this thing poop like a horse!

I'm about to go to work for 6 hours hoping to come back and everything is okay. the gar seems to not care at all about the rays but the first time my smaller motoro went up the wall and made contact with the gar is freaked out. they'll realize in a day or two that they are not going to be eaten....I hope.
