Any guesses??? I have been searching for this pike for a year and a half. Had some near misses but they were to big and too expensive. Last thursday night I was searching for them and just by chance asked a MFK vendor if he had and he gave me a crazy deal on 2.

Hint: If you have taken notice to any of my posts on favorite pikes then its always there. One of the larger pikes.

NAME THAT PIKE!!!!:popcorn:

Will post piketures when they get here.
Im excited:D:nilly::naughty:

There are only a handful of really large pikes that someone would go out of their way to look for. Venezuela and Strigata are easy enough to get a hold of so Cincta was an obvious choice. Awesome pickup though. Can't wait to see pics.

no we dont. we value our space :cheers:

congrats on the cinctas, hope ya get pr if that's what ya want. I find it amazing you've been searching for so long. they haven't been hard to find. 2 or 3 east coast dealers seemed to get them in easy.

;)

I have found a few dealers in Jersey that have had them in the 7-9" range. I usually like to buy my fish as small as possible. The largest fish I have ever purchased were my Atabajos at about 5-6" and my cobra at about 6". Especially with the aggression these pikes come with I figure the smaller the better.

man Greenaveli, thats good stuff. Congrats man, you been waiting for these for a while..hahaha, finally got some....

Im tryn to get pics up I cant find my USB cord. The pics I took are quite blurry anyway but I just want to show the progress from now until.

Anyway these guys came in probably as small as I have ever seen a pike. I put them in a ten gallon and they are almost invisible. The smaller of the two hits anything that hits the water. They eat anything. The bigger one will not take Massivore but I am pretty sure that will change in time. They are about the size of two healthy minnows. I havent had fish this small in a long time. Kinda scary
