I'll have to find something more obscure to photograph next time.

My flash arrived a few days ago and it works a lot better than the CFL desk lamp I used for the first set of pictures. I've got the flash reduced to 1/64 power (the minimum level) and I can't set the shutter speed any faster than 1/200 second, even at 100 ISO.
