WHats in ure overflow??

This is my 1st time working with a commercial w/d overflow system . what do u have in ures??? in the overflow and the sump?? what do u recomend??

here are a few pics to give u an idea of what im talking about.

btw pics are old and none of those fish are in the tanl or sump . was moving them around while cleaning .
keep in mind i only have 1 overflow so the second chamber is empty .

What the heck is an ure? Are you asking "whats in your overflow?" In that case then I used bioballs and poly mat.

In the outside of the overflow, most people put a sponge in there to limit noise.

As far as the sump....pink mechanical media & scrubbies.

I am going to try these on my 240....only drawback is the outflow needs to be under water and you would want to use a filter sock since its not pre-filtering in the overflow.. But it should be silent. They have a 1" version too...
