What's in your AquaTop CF-500 media trays?

I just received a AquaTop CF-500. For a low budget filter, it's actually pretty impressive.

For now, I set the filter up with the media that came with it. The main purpose I'm using this filter for is mechanical filtration. How do you have yours setup? Any recommendations?

I bought mine a couple weeks ago but just set the first one up yesterday... I put all bio media on the bottom 2trays and mechanical on the top two, took out the carbon Bcuz I won't need it.. will likely add some purigen to the other one when I hook it up

I ended up adding a bag of Matrix and a bag of Purigen. I also added another layer of filter padding. I am very impressed by this filter thus far. My tank is crystal clear now. I will probably buy two of these for my 125g.

To be honest if your stocking isnt just outrageous you can probably do just fine with one.. I'm going with a pair on my 210 grow out tank, I can always add more but with the flow these get I may not have to...
