Whats in your tank

I have a 55 gal. tank with an oscar and a green serevum in it. what else would go good in there.?? also what do u have in your tank?

Yeah, you should maybe get a 60. Also, what kind of filter are you using? Aswell, what size are they, you could use a Rena XP3 filstar (im using one in a 60g with 2 oscar's and the water seems fine).

leave the tank as is, and upgrade in the future if you want to consider tankmates

An oscar alone in a 55 is a bad idea IMO.
But you deff will need an upgrade.

depending on how large your oscar is, a 55 can work.

first off welcome to mfk, depending on the size of each fish u are fully stocked and i wouldnt add tankmates. in order to add tank mates the oscar needs to upgrade in a a few months. What i would do is since u need to upgrade the oscar u can then use the current 55g to do a nice setup of ur choice. I have 12 tanks so listing my stocklist would be crazy. in my 55g though i have mbunas.

well both the oscar and the serevum are small right now and i have just some stock filter that came with the tank, but i purchased a Emperor 400 a few days ago that i was plaining on putting in there

1ST.180g/ 4" oscar. 4-4" red devils/ 1 choclet pleco 13"

2and 180g/8-4" red devils /1 12" rino plceco
3rd.285g nothing cycleling for the last 3 months. / havent decided what to put in yet
