Ive bought my own first house!!!! Get the keys next month!!! but anyway, I have all my snakes, lizards etc as you all know but for my new house id like something that I can interact with if that makes sense, ive had a few ideas like a cockatoo/cockateil, porcupine, skunk again, ferrets, fruit bats etc, anyone else got any ideas?

You could get a dog. Companionship, definitely interactive, and the best security system you can find.

Maybe a Tegu? They're actually really interactive. If there were ever a lizard that thinks it's a dog, this is it.

My dog used to stay up all night staring out the window and bark at anything that moved outside.. then when he finally stopped... the family car got robbed... thanks scooby.

+1 on the tegu. A nice healthy Argentine Black and White Tegu is the best!!

lol that looks scary

Arg B&W Tegus are pretty demanding pets... but if you are willing to spoil them you won't find a better "pet lizard"...

Mine is much more like a puppy than I ever imagined a reptile could ever become...

gratz on the home!! careful though, thats when i started my monster, 3 or 4 months later it started.....

depends what kinda time you'll have for it. Generally more interactive = more needy. So be careful you don't shoot yourself in the foot. tegu's and savanha monitors are 2 of my favorite large reptile pets. also your local laws can be a pita.

for exotic mammals.. Coati's are prolly my favorite.
