What's my fish doing?

Picked up that KML yesterday, acclimated him, put him in the tank, he was acting great, playing with the female through the divider and active, now today he has no interest in anything, he sits there and only moves around when I'm not by the tank. Is he just shy cause he's new or what do you think the case is?

Maybe he got rejected by the female? :O

It's probably just stressed from moving tanks and still trying to readjust. He still doesn't know you but that will be fixed overtime, I believe.

I hope he gets better!
 
Do a water change. Maybe your nitrates are high. Same thing happened to me with a pair of 5 star general cichlids a while back.

If he's eating and is otherwise in good health, then I wouldn't worry about it too much, maybe something spooked him, maybe you should be more presentable to the fish next time, was his previous owner cuter than you are?

Well the guy was old and Asian so I assume I am more attractive haha, is that your subtle way of trying to get me to post a pic ;) haha but he's not eating doesn't show interest in food
