whats my greeny doing

i have a green sunny along with a 2 bluegill 4inch and 2 inch, a tiger oscar, and a marble goby. my green has boldly claimed a small overhang made of rock. anyhow every now and then my greeny tilts himself towards the top and sweeps his tail flinging rocks everywhere. just wondering what hes doing. i would guess this is somekind of breeding think goin on but i dont see any other signs of behavior .....opinions welcome.

Yeah. Male sunfish build a nest and hover over it, chasing off rivals and trying to seduce passing females. Keep a close eye on the tank, he may get pretty aggressive.
