i have an 13inch ornate bichir that im thinking about selling so i can start over freash with several diffrent poly's. he's in great health and was raised with cichlids and a tsn. what is he worth?

Not to question you motives, but why?? A large ornate is a pretty impressive fish. That said, price will depend on the market, up in my part of Canada a little 4 inch ornate goes for just over $100cdn. I can only guess that a ornate of your size would be up around $200. That said most markets would likely command a much lower price.

I understand you must be upset of it for eating your convicts in it happened my o.b. now eating live foods but you really shouldn't sell it. It looks really nice in your avatar and you should treasure it.
If it's a captive breed price is around $50-$60. If it is a wild caught, price is around $80-$100. Depend on your location and how much you bought it before. Also if your buyer is willing to spend that amount of money that your selling your ornate.
made me keep it lolno i love my fish i just want a tank full of them and i know he's monster and will eat them. trust me i have no hard feelings toward him eating a pair of 10$ convicts. thats what happends sometimes. thats just what he is geared to do. this is my first poly and i just want more a tank full of these bad ass fish
