last night I noticed that I had some white dots growing on my tank, what ever it is, its not on the fish, please help me ID it and how to get rid of it. thank you
From looking at your photos it looks like I had the same problem a couple of months ago. Mine ended up being snails. You could get some loaches or assassin snails to take care of the problem or just not worry about it. They got really bad at one point but after that they just started dwindling.

It's a bit hard to see in your pics, are these what you have?
I find they are most prevalent early in the morning before the lights come on.
They start to fall off as the light hits, and many disappear into the substrate.
I like them, they constantly work the substrate keeping it from compacting, and eat detritus breaking it down into compounds the beneficial can more easily use.
Hard to tell from the pics on my phone, but sounds like Limpets. I had a breakout of them last year. Not a big deal. Up the water changes/gravel vac and reduce feeding, issue will level off
