there are flatworm meds, but some can harm corals/inverts, so make sure its reef safe before using it. also its recomended to try to syphon off as many of the flatworms befor/after using the meds as when they die they could cause and ammonia spike. i believe the suggested method is to blow them off with a pipet/turky baster then syphon them before they can reattach.

there are some medicines, nudibranchs that eat them or taking the infected coral out to a hospital tank and siphoning the flatworms out at night with a siphon by shining a flashlight in corner of tank and they'll gather and u suck them out till there gone. I will hunt a great article in my computer on taking care of them but in the mean time it might not be a bad idea searching on yahoo. Ways to remove flatworms outta a reef tank.

There are several wrasses that eat flatworms.

^ true but they are specific to the flatworm they'll eat and if unsure of flatworm u have he may just waste time and money and let the problem get worse but great suggestion.

Thanks guys for all the help i really appreciate it, are they harmful to the coral i assume? really appreciate the help, wil have a google and see what i find :)

Thanks
Matt

They aren't harmful unless they get to the point of smothering. There is also a possibility they could just die off on their own. If totally infested, then you might want to go the Flatworm Exit route. Otherwise, you may just consider getting one of the wrasses who eat them. Manderins are supposed to eat them too.

I have the clear white type of flatworms in my tank, I used Flatworm Exit made by Salifer. I've followed all the instructions, done 2 25% water changes. Got up this morning and they're BACK. Doing the treatment as I'm posting this. Is there any thing else I can do other then setting up a hospital tank and purging the other.
