Whats on my pleco?

I have a tiger that I just noticed this white crap on the side of his face. I have no Idea what it could be? It is sticking off of his face about a quarter of an inch. Please help!

You may want to try the Disease Forum. Until then, I would add some Melafix or Pimafix and raise the temp. This is probably some sort of fungus. I would also remove him from the tank and move to a quarantine tank (if you have one). If you do not have meds, I would add some aquarium salt. Good luck...

yup! definately what he sadi! remember tho to do 25% water changes every 2-3 says whislt using pima/melfix good luck!
