Well winter is coming to an end and the sun is warming up waters all around the UK, and i can't wait to dip my rods in the water and pull out some big FAT carp !!!

so whats on your target hit list this spring/summer ?

i have
20lb Carp
10lb Pike
Chub
Catfish

there the fish i need to catch this year !!! my own personal goals.
 
Already crossed off one of mine, cod from the beach.
Next is a decent size Bass and conger from the shore, definately a trip to Chesil needed.
If I get time some more pike fishing and a try for some Zander!

i'd like a zander too, but i have 4 main fish on my hitlist which are must have's i'll take a zander if one comes along.

anyone see " The Greater Rod Race " it was Matt Hayes & Mick Brown they had 30 Day's to catch 34 or 36 different species of fish in the UK i wish i could do something like that !
 
Winter is just getting bad here:( . It is about time to go do some ice fishing. Today school got cancelled because it was too cold lol.

I am happy to catch any fish so a PB (personal Best) would be a plus got to go some to beat 42lb carp but any common carp over 31lb would be good a 20lb Pike as you know Dan evading me for years now:irked: . and a Zander over 6lb that would be cool but to be honest if I just get a good run of 20lb ers I will be over the moon:headbang2 .

O we will get yo that Carp Dan have you not had a PB every time with me so far:naughty: .

i can already see that 20lber in my landing net !

watched a total fishing over the weekend and matt hayes was fishing with mick brown and they were fishing a new lake which had only been dug a few years and stocked to the tits with 30lbers, Mick brown got a new PB of 44lb, every fish they pulled out was an absoloutley **** hot specimen nice narrow heads with huge mouths with a full curtain intact wide bulky fish with massive sholders.

thing is i can't remember the name of the venue, i'll have to keep an eye out for that episode again so we can take a trip out there one day maybe you can beat your PB carp after all !!!
