Hi what is the best deal that you ever got on a tank? Mine would be a used 150 gallon with everything for $300.

Lucky! The only tank I ever got for free was a 20 gallon long that cracked a couple of years ago.

i got a 300g custom acrylic free from another MFKer. it was too big for my house so i traded it for a complete 150g glass setup from another MFKer.

I told a guy I know about a wholesaler going out of business on long island I read about on MFK.He mentioned that he got a bunch of tanks there So I asked if he could sell me a 40 breeder next time I saw him.He gave me the tank for free.Whenn I thanked him he said "no thank YOU!"Turns out the wholesaler had to clear out immediatly and he ended up getting nearly 100 30 and 40g and bigger tanks for $250.Several huge tanks including a 10'x4'acrylic went to the dump cause he couldnt get them out in time.So I got a good deal on a 40 breeder but I think he got the deal of the decade.
