Whats the best diet for flag Tail fish.

Sorry am not sure where to post about flag tail's. Hope is under "Other monster fish"

I want to know whats the diet of flag Tail.

I got online info that they are omnivorous it's primarily a herbivore.

What do you mean by herbivore? algue waffers? will the eat vegetables?

If yes they can eat vegeables, What kind will they eat?

I have tried pallets but they dont seem to take them.

They mainly eat algae but will attempt to eat most other foods. Their mouth design doesn't allow them to eat anything large or hard so try small pieces and soften them first.

So the only veg matter the flag tail eats is only algea?

No Markado, I said they mainly eat algae but will attempt to eat most other foods. They are not picky eaters.

Bu t I am not sure if it is good for them. They take much longer to eat as they cant swallow big pieces. Thus those hard algea wafers will deter the rest of the fishes from eating it and the Flag tail can take his own sweet time. Put in a piece of DW for him to suck on
