whats the best filter for mechanical filtration??

as the title said, what filter is it?

my 100 gal is in need for my mech filtraion :nilly:

Not to hijack but could you get the same effect by putting the AC in the sump?
 
Can't go wrong with a Magnum 350 also. If it's just mech filtration your looking at.
