This seems to be the subject of alot of your recent threads.

AC110s...Add a couple you can easily wash the sponge in hot tap water until clean every week during water changes. If you have gravel, extend the intake tubes within a couple of inches of the bottom. Make custom extensions with 1" UG filter lift tubes(check your LFS). With the addition of the AC110s you can move the intakes of your canister so they take in the least amount of particle debris, this will help keep them cleaner and doing a better job of biofiltration.

Not to hijack but could you get the same effect by putting the AC in the sump?

Can't go wrong with a Magnum 350 also. If it's just mech filtration your looking at.
