What's The Best Heater These Days?

So what is the best heater these days? I've been out of the hobby for some time now and am getting back in. I will be running a Ranco thermostat so a thermostat integrated in the heater is not needed although it is nice for double protection. Please let me know.... thanks!
 
I heard from several peoples that the titan heaters with digital controlers outside of the tank are a good choice.
Titan heaters are known to transfer the heat to the water better than glas heaters .
You will also dont have any problems with broken heaters .
 
IMO you will get a bad heater here and there even with popular brand name, I'm using Aquatop Digital Dual Display and its work just fine :)
I'm even have some cheap Jebo chinese heater and its still work after years :)
 
So Jager's are still good? I remember they were good when they were Ebo Jagers but remember hearing they went down hill after Eheim took over. Have they fixed their issues? If so, I'll just go with the Jagers again.
 
The best is heating the room and good ventilation.
