whats the best ph level for a motoro ray?

i live in calgary and the water is probably hardest in america here.never have i ever altered ph.

but when you want to get rays breeding i think maybe than???

They're called ghost shrimp, most LFS will carry them.

And you do NOT have to alter your water to breed...
