What's the best Pleco to put with rays???

In the fish room
I want a pleco to help eat some of my rays left over food and clean the glass a little to for me. Its in my living room and grows algae like crazy. I tried some calico bushy nose but the wound up eating the top of my rays. So is there anything else I can put with them? Nothing to small my female otorongo is 12 inches so it needs to be pretty big.

i have common plecos w mine, and will never go w out them!!

I just hate them do to how big they get, its a little to big for me. I like they rays to be the biggest fish in there. Not like my otorongo won't be smaller then a common pleco:nilly:
 
I would ask in the pleco forum which ones are least likely to suck on slimecoat. I'd be worried about any pleco doing that, though. How about a juruense of something different than a plec?


Fish den has an expensive little tig :nilly:
 
ya that tigrinnis or how ever you spell is way over priced!!!! I can get them at 6 inch for about $125 and at the size there hardy and not sensitive as much as that tiny 3 inch one that doesn't even have its stripes yet. It will be a nice fish one day, but I would not pay that much for one at that size.
 
huh, really, that's a great price. I'm probably going to be wanting to find a jur before too long.
