whats the best way to bulk up cichla?

im keeping them at 86 degrees F
feeding shrimp once a day
pellets once a day
and blood worms once a day
but theyre just not growing, ive had one for like two months now and it maybe grown a half an inch

Sometimes it seems like live will bulk them up quickly too. I think offering food multiple times a day is the way to go. I'm feeding my Orinos Ken's fish soft krill pellets and they're growing pretty well IMO.

i cant find massivore anywhere on Long island or any sinking pellets at that, it very annoying.
i dont like feeding live bc my jardini got a parasite from live once so i stopped with that. i also feed the occasional silverside

Feeders lots and lots of feeders. I go through 10 dozen feeders every other day with my 9 cichla, currently all less tha 6". Ive gotten 1-2" growth in less than 4 weeks.
