I don't think a 55 is large enough for a school of silver dollars.

really? though for sure 4-5 s.d. would be ok in a 55. and not to fond of barbs. as for angel fish. i have a 65g tall thats cycling now (about a week left or so) that i want to use for the angels.

how big do bichardi get, and how many can be housed in a 55g.

still open for suggestions. come on my fellow mfk.

One that grows less than 11.5 inches. Preferably (impo) 8"...A salvini would set off a 55 when full grown. You could do a pair.
