I have always moved 55's by myself, and I'm a scrawny kid. I'm sure someone out there has moved a 75 themself? Tried my best to move my 75 and I just couldn't do it, had to call a friend. Maybe with a dolly I could.

With or without a dolly what's the biggest tank you can handle on your own?

I'm interested because I like to try do do everything on my own. I've moved around a lot and I always move my own bed and furniture and tanks.

idk it depends, i'm sure shaq could move a pretty big tank on his own, if you tiny like me then its different, i need help moving a 55

Hello; A 55 gallon is the largest tank I have just picked up and walked around with. I have moved and loaded bigger tanks into and out of trucks or vans by myself with aids, I guess a 125 glass to be the largest. I was much younger and strong enough to lift some manual transmissions in and out of autos. The bulky shape of a large tank is an issue in being able to move it safely and without breaking it. I recall that the shape of the tanks was more of an issue than the weight. Now that I am of SS age a 55 is likely my current limit.

my 120 was fine with a dolly, setting it the stand i needed some assistance from a friend down the road. Coaxed him over with beer and a bbq lol then popped the "hey while your here..." question lol

I can handle a 180 but the cost of an oops would prevent me from doing so unless absolutely necessary.

Interesting subject... I can handle a 55 no prob by myself... The biggest ive dne myself was a 125 tho...probably wont do it again just dnt want a dumb accident to happen when I could jusy ask for help.

I think I could do a 40 gallon. I could probibly hold the weight of a 55 but my arms would probibly have a hard time reaching the other end of the tank. I think i could do a 70-90 gallon on a dolly.

I used to think I could move a 125g on my own. That is until I broke the end glass on a newly aquired 125g:(. I can do empty 55gs pretty easily, anything bigger I get help.
