What's the difference between a racetrack aquarium and an oval aquarium? :wall:

A racetrack aquarium is an aquarium that has the same shape as an oval tank but the only difference is that a racetrack aquarium has a oval shaped pillar in the center.

Racetrack also refers to a double bullnose tank...the ends are full half circles. An oval is an oval...basic shapes lol but id actually guess both r exactly the same. The correct term is double bull nose or racetrack. Heres my 500 double bullnose :)

If by "pillar" you mean overflow...most real tanks have them lol...it being square or oval has nothing to do with the tanks shape or name.

By pillar I mean the oval pillar in the centre of the tank, what is that? Just like in your amazing tank. (BTW what fish are they?)

Oval is an oval.
Racetrack has round ends, but straight (flat) sides that aren't bowed out and a center overflow. Section.
