whats the difference between F1, and F0? i never could understand this and was wondering if someone could shed some light on this mystery of mine.

F0 are wild caught, F1 are the 1st generation of young . . . so the 1st captively bred batch from a pair of wild parents.

oh i gotcha, so i have some F0's and if i breed my gymnos, then i will have F1's? is that correct? wow that changes everything, thank you!

yes and f2 are the generation after the first captive breed generation.

question: what do you call it if you mix generations like F0 and F4. does that make a F2?

haha is that all you have to say?
