whats the difference

I am lookin for a african brown knife that is available at my local petsmart..here the deal i was lookin at a website and it had two listing one was "Xenomystus nigri" and "Apteronotus leptorhynchus" i was just wonderin which one woudl be the one for sale at petsmart and instead of askin their "expert sales associates" i figured i would ask the real professionals. thanks for any info givin.

Petsmart carries X. Nigri. Nice little knife fish that can get 8" to 12" The average is 8"

Apteronotus is a south american knifefish genera... The same genera of the BGK, A. albifrons. If it is AFRICAN, it's NOT an Apteronotus, isn't it? It MUST be Xenomystus nigri, IMHO.
