No they don't. Midas (Amphilophus Citrinellus) is a pure species of fish found naturally in the wild. Flowerhorn is a hybrid fish which was made from Midas and several other fish.

`midas and flower horn are verry different fish they dont look anything like eachother other then the hump heads a midas in orange a flowerhorn has a flower line and the flower on the head
