Ya i would just like to know opinions from anyone what the fastest growing fish is. Mostly in size like length and width.

I just got my Flower horn in January and she was a little 1.5-2 incher and is now about 4.5-5 inch and getting thicker by the day.
I am having a congruent experience with my flowerhorn as well! He has really sprouted from warm tank temps (83-85 deg F) and two feedings a day.Ya same here, I feed her once in the morning, then again in the evening I keep the tank just a touch cooler between 79-81 deg f.Hawkfish3.0;1752590; said:I am having a congruent experience with my flowerhorn as well! She has already laid three batches of eggs too, but no males in the tank to fertilize so no fry out of it, she has started a lesbian affair with my blood parrot though, one lays then they both guard the pot, then a week or two later the other will lay and both will guard the pot again.
I tried putting some male Cons in to see if either would pair with them but after only 1 day at work (about 10 hrs)they had killed the two smaller ones and had put a nice betting on the last one, so now they only have a cat in with them.

when they hit that growth spurt of theirs, you can almost see them grow day to day. one of mine shot up 10+ inches in 4-5 months eating nothing but algae wafers and grapes when i first got him.
