What's the first cichlid you ever owned ?

Mine was a Red Devil I purchased from a LFS and at the time it was the only cichlid I knew of, I was like 11 years old at the time so that was like 1994 and it's still one of my favorite cichlids!

Assortment of mbunas, got into tanganyikans after that. I was about 15. I had kept community tropicals and reptiles/amphbians prior to that.

I think T.Ellioti firemouths
I have since only posessed a pair of rainbows, and am getting a T.Meeki firemouth soon

T. Ellioti is not a firemouth. In fact not all thorichthys are firemouths. Firemouth is the common name ONLY for t. Meeki.
