i've had a green terror for almost two years and its maybe doubled in size (1in to 2 in). but my texas chilids has gone from 2in to 6 in in about 1 year. whats the deal..............

Wow, that GT grows slower than my dwarf cichlids. Why don't do you try to deworm it to see if that helps. Wow.. an inch in 2 years? I think mine has grown at least a quarter inch and I have had him only a couple months.
I would have to dig to find the post but I bought a 1.5" GT/GS 3 months ago and he is at least 4" now. What size tank/filtration/water change sched./food? Thier is a definate issue somewhere.
(it used to live in a 55 gallon-90 gallon-40 gallon now)
