whats the growth rate of green terror

i've had a green terror for almost two years and its maybe doubled in size (1in to 2 in). but my texas chilids has gone from 2in to 6 in in about 1 year. whats the deal.............. :swear:

Wow, that GT grows slower than my dwarf cichlids. Why don't do you try to deworm it to see if that helps. What size of tank do you have and how often do you do the water change?
 
Wow.. an inch in 2 years? I think mine has grown at least a quarter inch and I have had him only a couple months.
 
I bought a 3.5" Male Wild GT over a year ago...now it's only 5" :eek: (it used to live in a 55 gallon-90 gallon-40 gallon now)
 
They do grow slow but I think there might be something wrong with the fish if it grew that slow. Unless you have it in like a ten gallon with NO waterchanges. That is a little unbelivable unless it is stunted majorly.
