As the title suggests, whats the most unusual fish or non-fish that can be kept in a marine tank? Not specifically the rarest but the most interesting and eye turners. Preferebly with soft corals.

Cheers,
Keith

frog fish(physcodelic is cool) or mantis shrimp(maynot be coral friendly its reef safe but it tends to do alot of rearranging or rocks.)

mandarins are nice but perhaps small enough to be missed.

harlequin tusk wrasse

bicolor goatfish may qualify do to its activeness.

pipefish, need aspecies tank tho

moorish idol , that is if your views know about the hobby and there extreme difficulty to keep alive in captivity.

in saltwater alot of fish are colorful so it wont be color that turns heads but they uniqueness of the animal

cuttlefish but you'll need to really research them on www.tonmo.com for all the information on keeping them.

+1

cuttlefish are killer. i can watch them for hours in public aquaria.

Get the harlequin shrimp. really easy to care for and as for feeding throw in a chocolate chip starfish every 3-4 weeks =)

Why an acrylic tank?
people claim that some mantises can crack the glass with the pincers

but i have never known a mantis keeper to claim theres did. although i have read that they can from some reliable sources. there are only 5 or 6 species that can do it, peacocks are suposedly one of them. im kinda of the opinion only larger ones can do it.
