Whats the problem with my pair!=(

So my pair of jags bred again this weekend when i was gone for vacation. The night when i got back the eggs looked okay and there might have been some white eggs but the water was cloudy cuz they knock the filter ou. The next day the eggs were pretty much all white. And today they r all gone. So whats wrong? The fish? the water? me? this is their second time and they still havent been successful? The eggs always go white

could be the male isn't fertilizing them or the water hardness can make it difficult for some species eggs to get fertilized

My convicts were able to breed successfully though

Convicts could breed in a can of Mt Dew.... =P

The jags may just be a bit more sensitive to water hardness.

i would give them alittle time to practice then adjust the water if necessary

yea i guess u guys are right......they bred again 2 days ago and the eggs are turning white again.....how should i lower the hardness
